Agenda

1.  Chairman’s opening remarks. 

2.  To RESOLVE to approve and accept apologies for absence and reasons given.

3.  To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the localism Act 2011 and to consider any applications for dispensations in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

4.  To RESOLVE to approve the draft minutes of the previous meeting, 4th of October 2022, as a correct record.  (circulated)

5.  To RESOLVE that under the public bodies (admission to meetings) act 1960, the public and representatives of the press and broadcast media be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the following items of business as publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted. 

Should this resolution be passed the public and press will be required to leave the meeting at this stage.

6.  Recruitment to consider the below, and make any RECOMMENDATIONS to Full Council: (Confidential information tabled on the day)

  • To note the resignation of the current Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.
  • To ratify the recruitment process to date including the increased SCP. 
  • To consider the appointment of a Locum Clerk

7.  To receive a verbal report on recent appraisals from the Town Clerk/ Cllr J. Pilley  and to RESOLVE any action if necessary.  

8.  To consider the SCP of all staff and make RECOMMENDATIONS to Full Council for SCP levels for the financial year 2023/2024. (Confidential information tabled on the day)
