NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and COUNCILLORS ARE SUMMONED to attend the meeting of Market Rasen Town Council, on Wednesday 12th November 2025 at 7.00pm to be held in the Committee Room of the Festival Hall, Caistor Road, Market Rasen LN8 3HT.
Members of the public and the press are invited to attend. This is a public meeting which may be filmed, recorded, and published.

1.Open Meeting
The Chairman to welcome those attending and make any announcements
2.Apologies
To receive apologies and resolve to accept valid reasons for absence
3.Public Forum
Members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council (maximum of 3 minutes per member of the public). A question shall not require a response at the meeting nor start a debate on the question. The chairman may direct that a written or oral response be given.
4.Declarations of Interest
To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act and to consider any applications for dispensations in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

To receive as a correct record the draft notes of the Town Council meetings on 10th September 2025
6.To receive the District and County Councillor reports
7.To receive the Clerks report including items that have occurred since the last meeting of the Council
8.To agree to work in conjunction with Middle Rasen Parish Council to write a strategy plan for the development of the Rasen area
9.To consider and resolve the grant aid application received from Market Rasen Town Cricket Club and Association Football Club
10.To Resolve the purchase of a washing machine for the festival hall kitchen
11.To resolve that Market Rasen Town Council undertakes the upkeep and finance of the town planters located in the market place and entrance to the town to the value of £1,500 per calendar year
12.To consider the Clerk’s attendance at a LALC Clerks Networking Day, cost £25 on 20th November 2025
13.Finance
a.To note sections 1 & 2 of the Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR) on which the external auditors report is based; and section 3 of the AGAR (External Auditor Report and Certificate) and any assurance opinion or other matters raised and identified
b. Resolve to accept the 2025 bank reconciliation for September
c. To receive and update from the Clerk on the Budget & Precept
d. To resolve accounts for payment
