Councillors Present:      S Bunney (Chairman)     J Pilley  N Taylor

 

In Attendance:             A Driver (Town Clerk and note taker)

 

00001.  CHAIR FINANCE & ASSETS COMMITTEE

            It was RESOLVED Cllr S Bunney to preside as Chair for the ensuing year 2025/2026.

 

00002.  OPEN MEETING

            Chair welcomed those in attendance.

 

00003.  APOLOGIES

It was Resolved apologies not accepted for Cllr J Adekoya, Cllr A Dale, Cllr D Strachan as none received.

 

00004. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

            None.

 

00005.  OLD POLICE STATION

 

a. Verbal update provided by the Clerk that the lease became effective from the 28th August 2025.

 

b. Verbal update provided by the Clerk that the licence to occupy will take effect from 1st September 2025.

 

00006.  FINANCE

 

a. It was Resolved to accept the information presented for Q1 receipts and payments.

 

b.     To receive year to date income and expenditure

It was Resolved to accept the information presented for the year-to-date income and expenditure.

 

c.      To receive the budget and Q1 bank balances and agree any recommendations to go before the next meeting of the full council

It was Resolved to accept the information presented for the budget and Q1 bank balances with no recommendations.

 

d.     To review and consider Earmarked funds to be held by the council and agree any recommendations to go before the next meeting of the full council

It was Resolved to recommend Earmarked funds be held for existing CIL monies held and for £5k to be transferred from reserves into an earmarked fund for the Bell Park Regeneration.
